About
I am a Czech game developer with a master’s degree in Computer Science (IT security) from Brno University of Technology. I work in Unreal Engine 5, formerly in Unity.
My best-known solo titles include Jung’s Labyrinth, a psychological exploration game rooted in Jungian psychology, and Backrooms Break, an action rogue-lite that uses new UE features together with Chaos physics.
On the AAA side I contributed to Payday: Crime War (Popreach, Android port) and to an unannounced survival game for Batfields / CI Games (Dead Effect / Sniper Ghost Warrior / Lords of the Fallen ecosystem). Worked at Grip studios as a gameplay programmer and while later a Tech lead on Unnanounced Unreal Engine 5 project (released games that GRIP studios contributed to: Indiana Jones, Mafia Old Country and Firefighter simulator)
I have been making games since 2011 (starting with LWJGL), with detours through web development and Linux system administration before focusing on game development. My bachelor thesis was on emotion recognition with convolutional neural networks; my diploma thesis covered mind-controlled games using EEG and OpenBCI Ultracortex neurofeedback.
Stack I use most: Unreal Engine 5, C++, Python, Unity, game design.
Elsewhere: Portfolio & CV, GitHub, LinkedIn, Medium, YouTube, X / Twitter.
